Our Wedding

Our story began in 2023, beneath the lights and energy of a night at Printworks, where we met on the dance floor and, quite unknowingly, began something extraordinary. From that very moment, there was an undeniable connection, one that neither of us wanted to let go of. What followed was a whirlwind of conversation, laughter, and countless dates, each one deepening what we already knew: this was something special. As the months passed, we created memories that would shape the foundation of our life together. From everyday moments to unforgettable adventures, our love only grew stronger. Among our most treasured times are our travels across Europe. Particularly Italy, a place that has since become so close to our hearts, filled with beauty, romance, and moments we will cherish forever. In June 2025, we reached a milestone we had long dreamed of - our first home. Watching it come to life was an incredibly exciting chapter, symbolising not just a house, but the beginning of everything we were building together. Then came a summer we will never forget. In August, on the breathtaking shores of Lake Como, we became engaged to one another - an unforgettable moment in a place that felt almost as magical as the occasion itself. That same month brought even more joy, as we discovered we were expecting our first child, our beautiful son, Jamie. In March, our world changed forever with Jamie’s arrival. He has brought a love and happiness beyond anything we could have imagined, making our journey together even more meaningful. And now, as we approach December 2026, we look forward to the next chapter, becoming husband and wife. Surrounded by those we love most, we cannot wait to celebrate not only our wedding day, but the life we have built and the future that lies ahead.

The nearest railway stations are Folkestone Central and Folkestone West which are 6 miles away. Taxi's are available at the station.

Guest Parking

There is a large carpark and overflow parking on site. The main car park has 30 dedicated spaces, and there is no charge to park. You are welcome to leave vehicles overnight, although they must be collected by 11am the following day. There are 4 charging points for electric vehicles.

Taxi

The local taxi companies are familiar with the venue location. Old Kent Barn recommend pre-booking your taxi as the local taxi firms can be busy during the day and evenings with local work. Please note, Uber are not yet active in the area.
